This Digital-led Expert Masterclass is designed to equip delegates to gain a strategic understanding on IED’s, IED attacks and how to firstly prevent and minimise risk of attack and secondly to help deal with an attack should the worse happen. The workshop will also explore methods of information gathering and the importance of information sharing and reporting when attacks occur.

Trainer

Expert Trainer has 30 years’ experience in both military and civilian, in the safe handling, storage, movement use, and disposal of explosives and associated hazardous substances. He has extensive experience of IEDD, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Conventional Munitions Disposal (CMD) operations.

Expert Trainer is an accomplished Training leader and has trained or over seen the training of over 2000 students in Afghanistan, Libya, Kenya, Ethiopia, Iceland, USA, Poland, Sweden, and Germany.

This 2-day The Suicide Bomber Emergence workshop is specifically designed to provide front-line law enforcement officers with the skills and knowledge to effectively identify, interdict and respond to an imminent suicide bombing attack whether person-borne or vehicle-borne—or a non-suicide attack involving a vehicle-borne device. The workshop offers a blend of classroom presentations and practical exercises designed to familiarise attendees with procedures for safe and effective identification and responses to suicide-bombing attacks.

Trainer

Expert Trainer has over 20 years of active service in Military Special Operations followed by a career in the Israeli Police and Diplomatic Security Agency. He is currently the owner of International Security Instructors, a top-tier organisation that provides comprehensive security and risk management solutions, meeting a variety of customised needs.

Expert Trainer has served as an undercover operator in the Israel Defense Force (IDF) Counter Terrorism Special operations unit which followed by a Police career in similar capacity becoming an instructor at the Israeli National Police Academy. He was responsible for instructing special operations units and teaching both tactical and operational procedures on Counter-Terrorism.
