Overview

Construction is generally a risky business. Construction projects have a history of contractual disputes and conflicts, which is mainly due to the complex nature of construction work and complicated commercial arrangements involved.

This masterclass will provide participants with the tools and skills to effectively identify, assess, mitigate and manage risks in construction contracts. Participants will come away with deeper understanding of major risk provisions in construction contracts, and be better equipped for contract negotiation and  implementation, and avoidance of potential conflicts and disputes. Participants will be afforded “hands on” opportunity to work on case scenarios, analyse as well as discuss findings.
